This is a recipe from Star Jones’, I got this while she was still on "The View" and probably still eating ribs! It’s absolutely perfect and I’ve used it a million times over the last 11 years! I use pork ribs but beef works just as well.
Wash ribs, dry with paper towel
Season with:
Lawry’s (or other) seasoning salt
Minced garlic in oil
7 drops hickory liquid smoke
Rub this onto both sides of ribs and bake in a preheated oven at 375 degrees for 60-75 minutes.
For the Sauce:
2 bottles hickory smoked BBQ sauce
3-5 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
1-3 Tbsp minced garlic
½ lemon
Seasoning salt
3 drops hickory liquid smoke
3 Tbsp brown sugar
Cayenne pepper to taste.
Marinate ribs in sauce for 30 minutes; cover with foil.
Grill on medium heat until brown, re-sauce as needed.
Super yummy!

Wendy, I hope that you get this. I couldn't find a contact link for you. I made this recipe years ago and was looking to make it again today. I was wondering though if you have ever tried making it in the crockpot. If so, how did it turn out and what level/duration did you use?
